Intro

Regions: Americas, Europe, Africa, Oceania, Asia, Middle East
Every region has a buddy - recovery backup (>300miles apart)
Availability Zones and Sets - has to be selected at the creation of VM

Resource Group comes before creating VM
Tenant is where active directory lives
Subscription is accessed after authenticating with tenant
